MK Dr. Uri Stern - IMW Announcement

Israel's Media Watch deeply mourns the untimely death of MK Dr. Uri Stern.

MK Stern, who was a member of the Presidium of Israel's Media Watch, was a full partner in our activities and provided support for many of our struggles. While he served as chairman of the Committee for State Auditing in the Knesset, he consulted with IMW with respect to the media, and he invited IMW to appear before the committee in order to raise topics related to media criticism. MK Dr. Uri Stern was always ready to provide a helping hand whenever IMW needed support. We were honored to have him as a member of our Presidium. We will sorely miss his public and parliamentary activities.
